This guidance has been developed to support farmers, landowners and contractors in Devon and the immediate locality who are receiving funding for boundary restoration through an agri-environment scheme. It aims to promote best practice for boundary restoration and clarifies the restoration standards required to qualify for capital grants. You must also comply with the capital work specifications. Natural England manage the schemes on behalf of Defra and require the use of locally traditional materials and methods, which complement the local landscape and enhance wildlife habitat.
