This information note has been written to provide guidance to developers, Competent Authorities and others in assessing wind farm developments that may affect the Humber Estuary Special Protection Area (SPA) and Ramsar site, Thorne and Hatfield Moors SPA, Lower Derwent Valley SPA and Ramsar site and Hornsea Mere SPA.
It provides technical advice regarding the necessary procedures under the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) Regulations 1994 (the Habitats Regulations).
